Javed Akhtar has refused to share the credits for any films with any writers for several movies and many months now. He has however agreed to share it with Niranjan Iyengar for Karan's new movie My Name Is Khan. We are also happy to report that he is also penning the title track for the movie as well. Now that should be something to look forward to considering his award winning work all these years, he is an asset to Bollywood.

Javed Saab has worked with Karan and Shah Rukh in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Kal Ho Na Ho as well. But Javed saab has insisted that he would not be sharing the lyricist tag with anyone else including Niranjan who has penned two Sufi tracks for this film.

This film is based on a very sensitive subject and for this reason Karan requested Javed saab to pen down a song for the movie which reflects the mood as the plot goes forward. And since Javed saab shares a close relation with Karan he has made an exception for his film. He is not only happy to be a part of the project but had high praise for Karan to make a movie on such an important subject. Heres looking forward to the team back together again.
